Here are some frequently asked questions about our policies. Please read through these to understand our procedures and guidelines better.

What are the most important things customers should know about our shipping process and return policy?

We are devoted to ensuring excellent customer satisfaction with our merchandise after you receive it. Full priced merchandise may be returned for a full refund or exchanged within 30 days of delivery date, when merchandise is in unused condition, accompanied with the original packaging, and is based on the original form of payment.  We offer Standard, Priority and International shipping options.

Exchanges are for size or color changes if in stock.

Shipping Errors and Damages 

If at any time we process an order in error, we will gladly replace or take back the item for a full refund at our expense.  To receive your shipping label and arrange to replace your product, please contact Silk is Chic's Customer Care by calling (770) 897-3233 or by email at customercare@silkischic.com, or our Contact Page.  If a package is damaged or lost during shipment, it is the delivery company's responsibility. Claims must be filed properly with the delivery carrier.  Let us know if we can be of assistance.

We recommend you send packages back via USPS or insured Parcel Post for your protection.  All return shipping fees are non-refundable and are the customers responsibility.

If a package is returned to our warehouse as undeliverable, we will seek to contact you immediately for alternate address for re-shipping, and a refund for the amount of the order only given less the USPS or UPS fee.  If we are unable to contact you, you have up to 14 days to notify us for re-shipment or all funds will not be refunded and product will be restored. 

International Shipping 

Orders from outside the United States will be shipped via USPS.  Delivery occurs withing approximately 2-3 weeks processing time or less.  Charges will be estimated based on each country's pre-paid customs and duties, fees, weights, etc.  Package will be traceable.  Local carriers do the final delivery. 

Duties and Taxes

You will receive a price quote for shipping fees including duties and taxes during checkout.  The quote is based upon national laws and country where order is being shipped to.  All shipping fees, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees will be paid at time you place your order.

Shipping cost may include, freight, fuel, insurance, duties, taxes, brokerage, disbursements, and rural charges, extra fees, for a particular country, etc. 

Duties and taxes returns, you may be eligible for a refund of a portion or all the duty and taxes.  Contact your local customs office for a return of duties or taxes. 

NOTE TO INTERNATIONAL USERS

If you are accessing the site from outside of the United States of America and place an order, you agree to and will be subject to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of Silk is Chic International.  You are transferring your personal information to the United States and you consent to that transfer.

Exchanges are not offered with International shipments.

 

Terms and Conditions: By using our site, you agree to our terms, including use of intellectual property and acknowledgement that product colors may vary slightly by device.

ALL ORDERS ARE SUBJECT TO BANK AUTHORIZATION PRIOR TO PROCESSING.  ONLY AUTHORIZED PURCHASES WILL BE PROCESSED AND SHIPPED.

Are there any specific details or exceptions in our policies that customers often ask about or misunderstand?

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and will never share, sell, or rent your personal data to any other party. Information collected is only used to process your orders and improve your experience.  When you visit our site, the Web server only records the consumers domain name, not the email address.  We accumulate information on what pages are viewed to better improve our website content.  Shopping cart contents are unknown until an authentic order is placed.

Only those who communicated with us via email, place orders via our website, and provide and email address will we collect.

Your email address will be used for pertinent correspondence concerning your order, such as sending your order and shipping confirmations.  We may occasionally send information on promotions, new products/services, and special upcoming events to your email address.  If you do not wish to receive such information, or need to change your addresses, please let us know by calling us (770) 897-3233 or email us at customercare@silkischic.com.

Children and Privacy 

Silk is Chic International is concerned about safety of children when they are surfing the web.  We advise parents to be available with their children while on the internet and remain aware of what they are viewing.  We will never knowingly request personal identifiable information from anyone under age 13 (or other age where parental consent is required) without parental consent when legally required.

Cancellation Policy

Silk is Chic International is dedicated to processing orders as quicky as possible, according to our fulfillment and shipping system, therefore we cannot change or cancel an order once it is submitted.
